We have just arrived home after a lovely trip to visit my friends and family in Finland. It has been some time since I last updated the blog, but there has been a lot of work and nothing really interesting to write about anyways.
It was very nice to be back in Finland for 2 weeks, but I have now decided that I will never visit Finland again in the winter… I mean what the actual F*uck…. Who can stand that cold weather for many months? I was really suffering these two weeks, although I am actually from Finland. It was not even that cold (it was between -10 to -20 all the days), but I guess it was more the wind that really pissed me off.
I don’t want to complain too much, I mean I love to visit Finland and my friends, but I prefer to do it in the summer next time.
The original reason why we went there now was that we were invited to a wedding of one of my close friends. It was a very beautiful and cozy wedding, BUT I was too busy finishing my hair before leaving, so I forgot my camera…. Obviously. So, the pictures from the wedding does not live up to how beautiful the wedding actually was.
After the wedding, which was in my hometown Vasa, we also went to a lovely engagement party in Helsinki, so we spend some extra days in there. We even had time to take a ferry to visit Tallinn and one of our old working colleagues that lives there.
When living abroad, you really miss your old friends, and it was so nice to have the possibility to meet almost all of them during this last 2 weeks in the freezing Finland. It really meant a lot for me.
Next up is a trip to Morocco in April with our working colleagues, but before that we will have a very important visit, our awesome IT guy from India. He will be visiting us for 3 weeks, and we will for sure visit a lot of cool places both in Andorra and Barcelona. He will arrive on Monday and we are super excited to meet him, we have been working together already for a long time, but never had a chance to meet face by face.
Hope you all have a nice weekend, I will be spending this weekend working, since there is a lot to catch up after being away for so long.
